本實驗建立OPEs分析方法,利用超音波萃取及索式萃取,其標準品回收率皆介於80~120%之間,結果顯示OPEs在電子廢棄物中的濃度含量,高濃度的有TBP(320~334 ng/g)、TPHP(146~148 ng/g)、TBEP(265~284 ng/g);中濃度的有TCIPP(5.7~7.82 ng/g)、o-TCP(17.2~24.8 ng/g)、 TiPPP(8.57~9.32 ng/g);其餘的OPEs皆為較低濃度的TEP、TPrP,、TCEP、 TPeP、TDCPP、 EDP、 TEHP、 CDP、 m-TCP、 p-TCP、 BPDP(其濃度範圍皆< 3 ng/g)。
計畫英文摘要
Environmental contamination resulting from electronic waste (e-waste) has emerged as a critical concern in recent years, prompting a need for innovative and sustainable remediation strategies. E-waste recycling facilities, while essential for managing the disposal of obsolete electronic devices, may inadvertently contribute to soil contamination with Organophosphate Esters (OPEs). These OPEs, commonly used as flame retardants and plasticizers in electronic products, pose potential risks to ecosystems and human health when leached into the soil. In response to this environmental challenge, the current research explores the application of advanced technologies—specifically microwave plasma and electric tube furnace methods—as potential solutions for decomposing OPEs in soil from e-waste recycling facilities. The complex matrix of e-waste, consisting of a myriad of electronic components, necessitates a nuanced and effective approach to address the specific challenges posed by OPE contamination. The following exploration delves into the contextualization of the problem, the need for innovative remediation technologies, the objectives of the study, and the overarching significance of the research in advancing sustainable practices in e-waste management. This comprehensive investigation seeks to shed light on the environmental implications of OPE contamination, offer pioneering solutions through cutting-edge technologies, and contribute to the broader discourse on responsible electronic waste disposal. In this project, the concentration levels of various OPEs in e-waste were determined using Soxhlet extraction. The OPEs found at high concentrations were TBP (320~334ng/g),TPHP (146~148ng/g),TBEP (265~284ng/g);at medium concentrations were TCIPP(5.7~7.82ng/g),o-TCP (17.2~24.8ng/g), TiPPP (8.57~9.32 ng/g);The remaining OPEs were found at lower concentrations, including TEP, TPrP , TCEP, TPeP, TDCPP , EDP , TEHP , CDP , m-TCP , p-TCP , BPDP (all with concentrations < 3 ng/g).
