計畫中文摘要	台灣存在許多地下水含氯溶劑污染場址，因此管理這些含氯溶劑污染場址成為一項極為重要的任務。依據科學證據的污染物遷移模擬與健康風險評估，能夠為預測地下水污染未來趨勢及評估監測式自然衰減的有效性等行政管制策略提供參考依據。台灣的降雨具有季節變動性，會導致地下水水位及流向的變化，進而影響污染物的遷移行為。目前常用的模擬工具，如僅考慮飽和層的MODFLOW軟體，無法充分考慮降雨入滲進入非飽和層的過程；本團隊開發的THMC模式則同時考慮非飽和層與飽和層的地下水流動，能夠真實模擬降雨入滲對飽和層地下水水位的影響。 本計畫的主要目標是建立含氯溶劑地下水污染場址的地下水流場與污染物遷移季節性變化模擬系統以及健康風險評估的系統化與標準化流程。計畫選定竹南鎮龍鳳段為假想場址，期望通過長期的地下水水位觀測及污染物濃度的採樣與分析，作為THMC模擬地下水流場及污染物遷移季節變化的對比基礎，並持續進行模型校正，以增強模擬結果的可信度及科學依據。模擬的污染物濃度結果將進一步支持權威的健康風險評估。 計畫的主要工作包括：安裝自動水位計進行地下水水位的持續監測、進行地下水質採樣與分析、建立場址概念模型、發展數值模型、模擬地下水流場及污染物遷移，並將模擬結果與現地觀測或監測數據進行比較和參數校正。經過嚴謹校正的研究結果將為含氯污染場址的智慧管理提供參考依據，提升污染物控制和健康風險評估的精確性，並將制定標準化的評估文件。
計畫英文摘要	Taiwan has numerous groundwater sites contaminated with chlorinated solvents, making the management of these contaminated sites a critical task. Contaminant transport modeling and health risk assessment, supported by scientific evidence, can provide a reference for administrative control strategies, such as predicting future trends in groundwater contamination and evaluating the effectiveness of monitored natural attenuation. Taiwan’s seasonal rainfall variation causes changes in groundwater levels and flow directions, which in turn influence contaminant migration behavior. Commonly used modeling tools, such as MODFLOW, which only consider the saturated zone, cannot fully account for the process of rainfall infiltration into the unsaturated zone. However, our team’s THMC model, which considers groundwater flow in both the unsaturated and saturated zones, can accurately simulate the impact of rainfall infiltration on the unsaturated zone and groundwater levels. The primary goal of this project is to establish a systematic and standardized process for simulating seasonal variations in groundwater flow and contaminant transport at chlorinated solvent-contaminated sites, along with health risk assessment. This project has selected the Longfeng section of Zhunan Township as a hypothetical site, with the aim of using long-term groundwater level monitoring, contaminant concentration sampling, and analysis as a baseline for comparing seasonal variations in groundwater flow and contaminant transport simulated by THMC. This ongoing model calibration will enhance the reliability and scientific validity of the simulation results, and the contaminant concentration data from the simulations will further support authoritative health risk assessments. The main tasks of this project include installing automated water level loggers for continuous groundwater level monitoring, conducting groundwater sampling and analysis, developing a conceptual site model, creating a numerical model, and simulating groundwater flow and contaminant transport. The simulation results will be compared with field observations or monitoring data for parameter calibration. The rigorously calibrated research results will provide a reference for intelligent management of chlorinated contaminant sites, improving the accuracy of contaminant control and health risk assessments, and a standardized assessment document will be developed.
