This project combines superheated steam and plasma technology to remediate organically polluted sites, uses water vapor steam to enhance thermal desorption effect, and uses plasma to recombine volatile organic pollutants in organically polluted soil, and maintain soil function after decontamination perpetual loop program. In this study, an enhanced water vapor plasma treatment system for organically polluted soil was built. The equipment includes a steam supply unit, a plasma generation unit, a reaction unit and an exhaust gas treatment unit. Experiments were performed on laboratory samples and samples from actual contaminated sites, with corrections for selected experiments. Operating parameters included plasma treatment time, soil moisture content, and different concentration loads. Experimental results show that this research system can achieve a removal rate of more than 94%, and soil fertility tests show that the effect of soil nitrogen fixation can be obtained. The energy efficiency is 1.46~1.49g Naphthalene /(kw·h), and the overall system needs NT40,000 per metric ton to treat polluted soil. The system uses water vapor steam to infiltrate microwave radiation into the contaminated soil, quickly, efficiently and non-selectively destroying organic pollutants, allowing the treated soil to achieve the function of removing pollutants but retaining its soil fertility, and realizing the soil non-degradation cycle The use is in line with the concept of circular economy and green agreement, and it also provides another technical choice for sustainable and resilient renovation.
